Greetings, dear readers! As we enter the Third Quarter of 2025, it is a perfect time to look back at the journey of PMBSCAZ in advancing the Kingdom of God in Arizona. The past months have been filled with events that not only engaged our community but also equipped our youth and adults with essential skills for a fulfilling Christian life in today's world. Our collective efforts have led to an exciting increase in participation, with our events seeing a 40% rise in attendance compared to the previous year.
February: Boys to Young Men Workshop
In February, we hosted the Boys to Young Men Workshop. This event was crucial in empowering our youth, specifically designed to engage young men and equip them with the skills needed to navigate life while adhering to their Christian values.
Participants shared overwhelmingly positive feedback, noting that the workshop clarified their roles as community leaders. For instance, one participant shared how a discussion on moral decision-making helped him tackle a real-life challenge at school, leading him to take a stand against bullying. The sense of brotherhood fostered in this event was palpable as young men from different backgrounds came together to share experiences, encouraging one another in a supportive environment.
May: Motivational Workshop
In May, we organized our Motivational Workshop. This joyful event reached a wide array of participants, from young children aged five to seniors over ninety. It successfully united Christian men, women, and children, creating a strong sense of community and shared purpose.
Pastor James L. Harris highlighted the significance of these gatherings, expressing that they leave participants eager for "relevant, relational workshops." The success of our May workshop led to a remarkable 60% of attendees signing up for future events. This eagerness demonstrates the growing interest in spiritual growth and connection within our community. We will continue to capitalize on this momentum, developing programs that inspire and engage everyone involved.
